This AGREEMENT (“Agreement”) is entered into between KR Painting, LLC (“Company”) and (“Subcontractor”). This agreement is effective for any and all projects performed with KR Painting, LLC and is governed by the laws of the States of Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Maine.

• Subcontractors are hired on a per-job basis. Company will provide job scope, color choices, and other necessary details.
  

• Subcontractors must start and finish a job to receive payment. No partial payments will be made for unfinished work.

• Absences require 12-hour notice prior to job start. Failure to notify may result in job termination and forfeiture of payment.

• Payment is made upon successful job completion and final payment from the client.
  

• Costs to repair any damage caused by subcontractor will be deducted from final payment.
  

If job delivery is delayed (excluding weather or job changes), $100/day may be deducted for each additional day.

• Subcontractor must maintain:

  • General Liability Insurance (Minimum: $1 million)

  • Workers’ Compensation Insurance (as required by state law)

  • Sole proprietors not required to carry Workers’ Compensation for themselves.
    

  • Subcontractor must provide:

    • Proof of insurance

    • Valid driver’s license

    • Tax ID number

    • Lead certification (if applicable)
      

• Subcontractor agrees to comply with all OSHA regulations and updates.
  

• Any fines due to OSHA violations will be the sole responsibility of the subcontractor.

• Subcontractor agrees to hold KR Painting LLC harmless from any liability, damage, or expenses due to subcontractor or their team’s actions.
  

• Property damages must be repaired or compensated by the subcontractor.

Subcontractors and their teams must:

• Avoid profanity, offensive language (in any language), and negative comments about clients or coworkers.
  

• Not smoke, drink alcohol, or use drugs on-site. Report to work free from impairments.
  

• Maintain a professional appearance. No clothing or vehicles with non-KR Painting logos.
  

• Use KR Painting shirts and magnets as provided. Place signs as directed.
  

• Keep work areas clean, quiet, and respectful. Music only with permission.
  

• Communicate only through KR Painting site managers. Never discuss pricing or scope with clients.

• Subcontractors must ensure reliable transportation for themselves and their teams.
  

• Teams must work a minimum of 40 hours/week unless otherwise agreed.
  

• Appoint one English-speaking team lead if subcontractor is not on-site.

• Subcontractor agrees to comply with all federal, state, and local laws including:
  

  • Equal Employment Opportunity
    

  • Child Labor Laws
    

  • Workplace Harassment
    

  • Legal Hiring Practices
    

  • Environmental and Waste Regulations

This Agreement is non-exclusive. KR Painting may hire other subcontractors. Subcontractor may work for other companies.

• Proof of Insurance (listing KR Painting as Additional Insured)
  

• Valid Driver’s License
  

• Tax ID Number
  

• Lead Certification (if available)

This document represents the full agreement between KR Painting, LLC and the subcontractor. No other verbal or written agreements will be recognized unless signed by both parties.
